Yuck, you're so yuck!

Lynndie England, yuck! It's not often I want to send people to jail and lock away the key, but damn, some of the shit she did was sick. I cannot believe pleaded ignorance on TV. How stupid can you get? People have rights, even the enemy! They're still people, they are still fighting for the sovereignty of their nation. They're doing what you do. Argh! Horrible!

I don't mean to play the race card, but why the hell not? If this was a black man holding a woman to a leash, or stipping them naked, or tying electrodes to them etc while they were in jail, there would be hell to pay. America is supposed to be God's new nation. Europe is done with God, but God is thriving in America. God's people should do something holy - like not commit gross human rights abuses. (That includes state sanctioned murder, e.g. abolition of the death penalty, incredibly excessive and repressive jail sentences). The citizens of the United States should be ashamed.

The United States' stance on human rights, and international obligations in general, is appauling. Refusing to sign up to the International Court of Justice, continnally vetoing Security Council resolutions that are in opposition its own personal geo-policical aims. Sick! Come one you Yanks, get it together! If freedom is so important, then do something about it!
